Have you ever thought about why some clothes make it into a movie scene and why some others don’t? Or how they actually get a shirt to look so “old” in a movie when you know they must have just bought it when they started shooting? Or how many shirts do they actually have to buy to make sure they have enough to finish shooting the movie. Or why there are nice shoes in a movie when they hardly ever show the feet? Have you ever wondered why they pick certain hats to be in a movie? Or why things look one color and then when you find it on ISawItIn.com it looks like a different color? We have and we constantly are amazed when the costumers give us information about the color of an item and having seen the movie we are certain it was a different color. Or when we find out that the same t-shirt manufacturer is constantly used in different movies; then we find out its because they film costumers have to buy so many t-shirts to ensure they have continuity to complete the film. What a job costumers have and we are sure glad they pick some great fashion items for us to look at. Don’t get me started about prop masters though, because there is a whole other great creative mind working on set design etc to make movies memorable and entertaining.
