Changeling Costumes Circa 1920's

Changeling the 2008 American period thriller directed by Clint Eastwood and written by J. Michael Straczynski kinda scares me. What a frightening experience and what drama the movie must have. The film takes place in 1928 Los Angeles and tells the true story of a woman who recognizes that the boy returned to her after a kidnapping is not her son. After confronting the city authorities, she is vilified as an unfit mother and branded delusional. The movie Changeling stars Angelina Jolie as Christine Collins, Jeffrey Donovan as J.J. Jones and John Malkovich as Gustav Briegleb. The costumes in the movie are circa 1920’west coast style. While the clothes in the movie Changeling surely were stylish they also were a mix of vintage, retro costumes, accessories and other Hollywood wardrobe items.
