So we took another look at this entertaining and fun movie and sent our shoppers looking for some inspired styles. As we reported previously, Nancy Drew's wardrobe as worn by Emma Roberts was primarily designed by the movie's costume designer Jeffrey Kurland, as one-of a kind pieces for the movie. Jeffery Kurland was also the costume designer for My Best Friends Wedding, Erin Brokovich and Ocean's 11, all featured films that included Emma Robert's famous aunt, Julia Roberts. You've seen these background stars at the Academy Awards, Grammys, Movie Premieres and other Hollywood VIP movie star events. They are sleek, almost always dressed in black and constantly caught on film by the Paparazzi. I am talking the cars of the stars! I got a chance this week to head to Hollywood visit some friends, make some new ones, checked out the Hollywood Costume installation at FIDM (more details on that coming later) and stopped to see a few of the luxury cars of Hollywood. We love Hollywood Behind the Scenes

Boy I just love Behind the Scenes. One of the great perks of this job is getting to see all the cool behind the scenes magic that is Hollywood. Of course most of it tends to focus on Hollywood Wardrobe, the costume department and those great movie clothes that eventually make it to http://www.isawitin.com/ for you to buy. Seeing the wardrobe pieces just hanging waiting for the actor to put on, or looking at 6 of the same item each one slightly more battered for a paticular scene in a horror movie or my favorite, a behind the scenes look at a favorite actor or actress relaxing in makeup or onset, wearing the item. So I am really excited to see all the work research and the shoppers are doing around the movie .45 starring Milla Jovovich. Now this isn't your post-apocolyptic Resident Evil ensemble, or your sleek SuperHero Ultraviolet outfit, nope not even something you can get at Jovovich-Hawk. All these movie costumes and pieces you have seen Milla Jovovich in are great, this stuff from .45 is just as great but different. One editor described it as edgy, gritty and she saw a few pieces she would like to buy. Me, I liked the cowboy boots that Angus wore....so no surprise that you will find us posting about those too! and stayed tuned for some behind the scenes info as we are going interview the costume designer for the movie .45, yep...we had a chance to chat with Joanna Syrokomla who has worked with Milla Jovovich, Ving Rhames and director Robert Townsend to drop a few names. (C'mon this is a company town afterall). Superbad Cowboy Shirt

Do I really need to write a post about this? Seems like everyone who has been looking for the cowboy shirt from Superbad finds it on our site. Heck, I even want to get that cowboy shirt Seth wore in the movie. So, just to make sure they had my size I made a call over to the shop that sells them to confirm they still had the shirt. You know it probably one of the most popular movie shirts in awhile. (alright there are a few shirts Dewey wears in Walk Hard and also the cowboy shirts from No Country for Old Men too that are also popular). So I made the call and chatted it up with a great person at the store, who also happens to be a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), so a bit familiar with movie clothing, movie wardrobe and of course we had a bit to talk about. We are busy researching and shopping the clothes from the movie 21. The movie inspired by the true story of five students who changed the game forever is a fact-based story about the students who were trained to become experts in card counting and subsequently took Las Vegas casinos for millions in winnings.
